How long will it take before I am completely forgotten? My children don’t know the most important person in my life, My
grandmother. The stories that I tell of her won’t be passed to their children. This series of black and white photos was created to question
what will be remembered from today. I began looking at new construction sites as though they were discoveries in an archeological dig.
The images represent the people who put the work into constructing these “ things”
We know many things about the Great Pyramids, about the Statue of Liberty, the Louvre, Stonehenge, and their designers, but what do
we really know about the average working man that lived during anytime in history. Most of us live as unrecordable. Our Births and
deaths are recorded and it is left to our families to tell our history. These images represent the foundation of modern civilizations and
the hands that build it. When it is rediscovered in 5225 may all of the elements of humanity remain.
